Inspired by the Landscape and Local Culture
The hotel is located in the Taibai Mountain area, surrounded by a landscape associated with the imagery of mountains and the phoenix.
The local setting provided the starting point for the visual concept.
The design team drew inspiration from the shape of phoenix feathers, combining traditional cultural references with a more restrained contemporary design language.
Instead of directly reproducing a phoenix as a decorative graphic, the concept extracts the flowing form of its feathers and translates it into subtle details throughout the signage system.

Translating the Phoenix Feather into Signage
One of the most distinctive elements of the concept is the directional arrow.
Its shape is derived from the flowing geometry of a phoenix feather, creating a visual element that can function both as a directional symbol and as part of the project's identity.
This approach allows cultural inspiration to become functional rather than purely decorative.
The same visual language can then be repeated across different types of hotel wayfinding signage, helping create consistency throughout the resort.
